Connect Community Trust was established in 2003 and since then has established and operate a wide range of services and activities within 4 community facilities and allotments in the Greater Easterhouse area of Glasgow. Services and activities within these facilities provide help, support, training, fun and social interaction for all ages in the community. Community empowerment is at the heart of the organisation, local people leading, participating and developing all of the services.
ENABLE Glasgow: Fortune Works
ENABLE Glasgow aims to empower people with a learning disability to get the most from life. South Seeds is a community led organisation founded in 2011 and based on Victoria Road on the Southside of Glasgow. Our projects aim to increase local resident’s energy awareness as well as help them learn more about growing food and reducing the amount of waste they produce.
The Hidden Gardens
The Hidden Gardens, in south Glasgow, is a venue for hire that is uniquely alcohol, smoke and pet free. It is a peaceful urban green space, freely accessible to all, 6 days a week. The gardens also becomes a neutral gathering place for communities through our annual programme of events, activities and learning opportunities. Our aim is to support nature, learning, participation, health & wellbeing, creativity, an understanding of different cultures and a sense of community.
YES Works is an Award Recognised Social Enterprise that delivers premium quality Landscape Gardening services to local authorities, housing associations, business as well as private homes in the West of Scotland.
