Weans' Scran & Kitchin CIC

The business is a community café and children’s cooking school. The café will operate like a normal café business but within the premises of the café the business will create spaces for children to learn about cooking and healthy eating. The business will start by offering this service to younger children who are accompanied by their parents but as the business grows, the cooking school will seek to open up classes to older children and teenagers. The business will host special sessions for neurodivergent children, children from minority groups, care experienced children and free sessions for refugee/asylum seeking children. The business also hopes to work with local schools to offer cooking school opportunities for local primary school children. The business will seek to find a premises that has both indoor and outdoor play areas for children and their care givers.
