The No.1 Befriending Agency is a social enterprise registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to valuing the person. No matter what age, size or shade you are! Our vision is to create connections and build confidence in and through the people we work with. Our Mission To reduce loneliness and isolation by promoting the wellbeing of people in Greater Glasgow and providing friendship and companionship. What we do We provide one-to-one and group befriending to older people who would otherwise find themselves lonely or isolated. Our group befriending takes place at the Cup of Friendship events. This is a place where older adults and volunteers come together for a wee chatter, cup of tea and live folk song music!
