Young Enterprise Scotland

Young Enterprise Scotland supports young people aged 5-25 across Scotland. We provide training and practical learning experiences to young people of all backgrounds. Our most ‘famous’ programme is the Company Programme where final year school pupils are offered the chance to work with a teacher and business volunteer to set up and run their own company. We have hundreds of teachers, business volunteers, pupils and schools from across Scotland taking part every year. It also has a competitive side and those who come out on top at local and Scottish level have the chance to compete against other Young Enterprise companies from across the UK and Europe. We provide lots of other programmes too though and our dedicated staff and volunteer team work in mainstream education, residential and secure units, prisons and with community groups. Our programmes cover vital topics that range from CV building and interview skills to business plans and presentation skills. They provide excellent and practical opportunities for the young participants to learn and develop essential skills for the world of work.
