Kibbleworks t/a The Experience

Kibble is a specialist centre that supports at risk children and young people (aged 5-26) across the UK. Many of the young people Kibble cares for have experienced significant trauma in their lives and the charity offers dedicated care and support to help them move forward. It provides a place of safety, structure and stability, opening new possibilities and preparing young people for a happy and fulfilled adult life. As a charity and a leading social enterprise, Kibble has been helping young people for 160 years. Offering a robust support network, it’s range of integrated services include: residential care; secure care; primary, secondary and tertiary education; intensive fostering; day placement and outreach; community housing and housing support. In addition, all young people are supported by Kibble’s Specialist Intervention Services team who provide psychological input. Kibble also offers young people (aged 15+) the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and qualifications in its social enterprises. Young people, who are furthest removed from the job market, can undertake work-based learning in mechanics, painting and decorating, catering, and more. The Experience is Kibble’s largest social enterprise. It’s a five-star leisure and events venue which houses Scotland’s premier indoor electric go-karting arena, laser tag, soft play, licensed caf�, and meetings and events space. As well as being a fun day out for visitors, it’s also a young workforce development centre.
