Glasgow Eco Trust & De'ils On WheelsDumbarton Road Corridor Environment Trust delivers a range of environmental projects and services across West Glasgow and beyond, which protects and enhances the local environment and increases the well-being and resilience of the local people and communities. Glasgow Wood RecyclingGlasgow Wood Recycling, established in 2006, is an innovative social enterprise, committed to diverting wood waste from landfill and making Glasgow a greener and cleaner city. Intergenerational Mentoring NetworkThe Intergenerational Mentoring Network CIC is an exciting new organisation set up to take forward intergenerational mentoring as developed by a team of researchers at the School of Education, University of Strathclyde and a partner school headteacher. LifelinkLifelink has operated across Glasgow for 25 years supporting individuals who have mild to moderate mental health issues, for example stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues or overall low mood. It provides a range of services including one to one counselling, personal development workshops and training. Services are aimed at young people age 11-18 and adults age 16+. Our community and school based counselling services are generally free to individuals living in Glasgow City. Make Do and Grow CICMake Do and Grow is a not-for-profit social enterprise, based in Govan and focussed on supporting growing families, developing creativity and encouraging re-use and recycle. Maryhill Burgh Halls TrustMaryhill Burgh Halls Trust owns and manages the Burgh Halls. We are a registered Scottish Charity and Company limited by guarantee. Any profits we make go back into running and maintaining the Burgh Halls building for future generations. Parent Network ScotlandPNS is strength-based, relationship-based organisation that has both a track record of success in local communities and great potential to expand its reach and impact. Our self-selected participants tend to be people who are finding parenthood particularly challenging – whether for personal and/or circumstantial reasons. Our staff and volunteers are empathetic, empowering and effective supporters of these diverse parents. Potential In MeWe are passionate about helping children and young people to understand and step into their amazing potential. We do this through life coaching and personal growth workshops/programmes. Project AbilityProject Ability is a visual arts organisation which supports children and adults with disabilities and people in recovery from mental ill health to develop their creative skills and achieve artistic success. Space UnlimitedSpace Unlimited supports educators, other public service providers and businesses to work directly alongside young people to design and take action together. The SparkThe Spark is a well-established (over 50 years old) charity and social enterprise. Working in partnership we provide relationship counselling, support services, information and education to children, young people, individuals, couples, parents and families. We use an early intervention and prevention approach to help develop resilience and reduce the destructive impact of conflict where this is present in a relationship. The Village Storytelling CentreThe Village Storytelling Centre is all about people and language. We recognise that talking and listening allow us to share and learn from each other. Good storytelling is about relationships, it is about making connections between people. Urban Roots InitiativeUrban Roots is a community led environmental charity working across the Southside of Glasgow.We empower local people to make choices and lifestyle changes that are beneficial for them, their communities and the environment.
