Community Transport Glasgow
Community Transport Glasgow provide affordable accessible transport to non profit making groups. We wish to provide a service to those who would otherwise struggle to use other forms of transport - due to issues such as age, mobility, disability or social isolation
Working collectively and collaboratively; including with the voices of lived experience, we seek to co design interventions which can help find ways to manage the daily issues and challenges of life; which can cause mental and emotional distress, and to share what we have learned with others to adopt and adapt for their own use.
We are a small social care organisation run as a social enterprise based in Castlemilk in Glasgow. The focus of our work is finding creative solutions to support people with learning disabilities , physical disability, older people and young people with a disability to overcome the barriers which prevent them from being part of their local communities.
