Youdom Suya CIC, founded in 2024, blends culturally authentic African barbecue (Suya), rich heritage, and community‑led events to generate income. They reinvest this income into community programmes from youth engagement and employability pathways to skills development and inclusive shared meals. They create spaces where culture, community and opportunity thrive.
As Youdom Suya CIC grows, they are keen to collaborate with festivals, local authorities, social enterprises, and community organisations to deepen impact, create more paid pathways for young people, and broaden the visibility of African food and culture across Scotland.
