For over 25 years Limelight Music has provided pioneering and innovative access to high quality musical education, qualifications, recreational participation and careers for individual of all ages and abilities. Our workforce constitutes Scotland first generation of professional musicians with impairments, who work alongside established non-disabled artists to train the next generation in inclusive music making, and support those with additional support needs towards full-time musical employment. These staff bring their own skills, personalities and experience to engage with individual with very diverse impairments. This work is seen as transferable because it addresses needs and tackles disadvantage experienced by individuals with impairments.
Project Ability is a visual arts organisation which supports children and adults with disabilities and people in recovery from mental ill health to develop their creative skills and achieve artistic success.
