The Senior Centre - Castlemilk

The Senior Centre considers itself a 'youth club for the over 55s' and our main objective is to offer and promote social opportunities for the residents of Castlemilk and its surrounding areas. We aim to ensure that more independent older adults within the community can continue to live at home and improve their social connections and relationships with their peers. We have a busy programme throughout the year offering classes, activities, trips, holidays and parties. Each week we provide transport to and from the centre on accessible minibuses for over 30 members who would otherwise not be able to attend. Once in the centre, members are encouraged to be independent and participate in classes, activities and use the caf� at their leisure. Staff and volunteers are always on hand to offer guidance and information. While we are not a care provider, we can suggest or contact partner organisations to those who may benefit.
