Govanhill Baths Community Trust’s goal is to re-open the baths as a Wellbeing Centre and at the same time contribute to the wider social, cultural and built regeneration of Govanhill as a community through a range of activities. The Trust operates as a Limited Company by Guarantee, a Charitable Trust and a Preservation Trust. We run a wide range of community-based Wellbeing activities and educational and training courses aimed primarily but not exclusively, at people from the G41/G42 postcode. The Trust has a successful social enterprise project Rags to Riches – a leading Scottish Upcycling project. The Centre is run by the community for the community in association with a local voluntary and statutory partners.
