We are delighted to launch the third report detailing the scale and economic impact of social enterprises in Glasgow.
Delegates at our event, held at the Glasgow Women's Library on Tuesday 24th October, heard Keynote Speaker Cllr Rhiannon Spear highlight inclusive and economic growth at the heart of the new administration within Glasgow City Council. Cllr Spear also announced the implementation of a newly reformed Glasgow Economic Partnership Group where GSEN will take a seat and the development of a local social enterprise strategy.
GSEN are delighted to have worked with Social Value Lab to once again produce a report which contributes to our understanding of social enterprise and reaffirms the social, economic and environmental contribution they make in Glasgow. The announcements from Cllr Spear are exciting developments and we're looking forward to working with members, Glasgow City Council, partners and stakeholders on fulfilling our ambition for Glasgow.
