Invisible Cities are a social enterprise that trains individuals who have experienced homelessness or social hardship to become walking tour guides in their cities. Through their training, they aim to empower participants with skills, confidence, and knowledge, while helping them share their stories and connect with their communities.
Their upcoming training programme will cover skills such as public speaking, storytelling, tour planning, and confidence-building. It will run over the course of five weeks, starting Wednesday, 8th January 2025. By the end of the programme, participants will have the opportunity to apply for the interview and hopefully join their team of tour guides, sharing Glasgow’s hidden stories with locals and visitors alike.
