Since May this year the organisations behind the Local Governance Review have been encouraging community groups to hold Democracy Matters conversations with communities of place and interest across the country. The ideas generated through these conversations are being gathered and will ensure that the outcomes of the review focus on what local people have identified.
To round off this engagement phase they will be holding a series of regional events to bring together those who have already had Democracy Matters conversations and others who have not yet had the chance to reflect together on the emerging themes, and what these tell us about what needs to happen next
They want to hear from you
They are inviting you to have your say on the themes and issues that have arisen from Democracy Matters conversations that have been happening across the country.
Find out more about the Local Governance Review & Democracy Matters Conversations, meet the team and discuss your views and ideas about how we can bring decision making to a community level. This is a free informal workshop style event.
