Kick Off Project 2019 from SIE and GCU

SIE are currently seeking organisations to be involved in this year’s Kick Off Project at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU). Now in its fifth year the Kick Off Project sees final-year digital design students undertake design challenges on behalf of client organisations over a four-week period (late Sept – late Oct).

The format involves:

  1. An initial meeting between student group and client on campus (Week 1)
  2. Typically a follow-up meeting on site (Week 2 or 3)
  3. Presentation of solutions to client on campus (Week 4)

Previous clients range from WEvolution to Project Ability with students working on projects that include:

  • Redesigning websites;
  • Designing apps;
  • Creating marketing literature (e.g. brochures, logos, etc.)
  • Devising new visually-led promotional campaigns (e.g. social media, videos, etc.)

Do you have an interesting design project that you’d like a talented team of students to work on for free?

If so then please register your interest by replying to Matthew Gardiner on the emailemail. If interested, Matthew be in touch again mid-August once he returns from holiday with dates and further instructions on preparing a client brief.
