GCU are nearing the final launch of Common Good First, an Erasmus+ funded project creating digital network to identify, showcase and connect community-driven social impact projects to one another – and to universities around the world for research, learning and teaching and student engagement. The initiative will also support community changemakers to develop e-skills and digital storytelling around the world – and the team also hopes the platform will attract potential funders, mentors and supporters for the projects whose stories it shares.
The project is drawing to a close, but really the life of the project is just beginning. They are very close to launching our online platform that will capture and showcase social impact projects across the globe. When they come to launch in October, they want to have a good representation of projects from across the world already showcased on the platform. The process to complete a profile is very simple and will take no longer than a few minutes. There are options to upload photos and videos to further illustrate your project and the impact it has on the community.
To fill out a profile, please visit platform.commongoodfirst.com and click register, the rest should be self-explanatory. It should only take about 10 minutes. Please make sure at least 1 image is uploaded for each project.
