Area and Sector Partnerships - Glasgow CPP surveys

The Community Planning Partnership structure in Glasgow includes three Sector Partnerships (North West, South and North East) and 23 Area Partnerships (operating at electoral ward level). The structure has been in place since 2013 with little change to remits or membership.

A review of the Sector and Area Partnerships is underway that examines their purpose and functions and aims to provide clearer terms of reference; ensure membership is appropriate to deliver revised remits; clarify roles and responsibilities; and provide clear connections and reporting lines with related plans, strategies and structures.

As part of the review, an online survey has been developed to gather views on both area and sector partnerships. The survey can be accessed at the following link: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/ReviewASPartnership/. The survey will close on 31st October 2019.

It occurred to me earlier this year as I was walking down Victoria Road that there are an unprecedented number of social enterprises in this one street! It led me to look up in the GSEN Directory how many other social enterprises there are in the immediate area around Queens Park. I made it 16! And that was not even including amazing community projects such as the Swap Market or the range of creative independent businesses that are thriving in the area.
