Glasgow City Council is inviting applications to the Glasgow Communities Fund for up to 3 years funding.
The Glasgow Communities Fund is a new grant fund that aims to tackle poverty and inequality throughout Glasgow. Through this Fund, we want to make a difference to the lives of our residents and their communities by supporting and working with them to maximise their potential so that they are able to share in, and benefit from, the opportunities in the city.
The Fund aims to tackle poverty and inequality through:
Building the skills, capacity and resilience of individuals and communities
Supporting activities and services that will enable and empower communities to become involved in the social, economic and cultural life of the city
The Fund is informed by the Glasgow City Council Strategic Plan, Glasgow Community Planning Partnership’s Community Plan and the aims of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
