Glasgow City Council New Grants Programme 2020/21

Glasgow City Council is developing plans for a new grant funding programme that will be used to tackle specific city priorities, allowing resources to be directed where they are needed most and can make the biggest impact on the lives of our citizens.

Developing a new fund presents a unique opportunity to learn lessons from the past but also to jointly develop ambitious new plans. To take this forward we are conducting stakeholder engagement events during March 2019. Our approach will be carried out in line with the recently launched Concordat.

These events will be an opportunity for your organisation to be involved in the discussion, both in person and digitally, around the future of Glasgow City Council’s grant funding programmes. Further information on the events is provided below:

When are the events taking place?

Events will take place on the following dates:

· Date: Monday 25 March 2019

· Time: 1.30pm – 4.30pm

· Venue: Banqueting Hall, Glasgow City Chambers, George Square

· Date: Friday 29March 2019

· Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm

· Venue: Banqueting Hall, Glasgow City Chambers, George Square

How do I register to attend the events?

Eventbrite will be used to manage the bookings for the events.

We anticipate that there will be a high demand for both events therefore in order to ensure that as many organisations as possible can participate and provide their views the following conditions will apply:

· Events will be ticket only;

· Allocation will be limited to one ticket per organisation; and

· Organisations should only attend one date.

Further information regarding how you can register for these events will be available by March 8 via our websites www.glasgow.gov.uk and www.glasgowcpp.org.uk, our social media pages on Twitter and Facebook, and via email through local and citywide networks. We would also encourage you to share this and upcoming emails regarding the events with your own networks to ensure as many groups as possible are aware of the events.

Thank You
