Electric Car Grant | Discount on New EVs Until March 2030

The UK Government have launched The Electric Car Grant to support the industry and drivers by reducing the prices of new, eligible EVs priced at or under £37,000.

The £650m Electric Car Grant (ECG) is encouraging more drivers to purchase EVs by reducing upfront costs. The grant has been designed to make low-cost, sustainably manufactured EVs more widely available. The grant will only apply to vehicles priced at or below £37,000. The seller includes it as a discount in the purchase price. Grants range from £1,500 to £3,750. 

The grant is available until 31st March 2030.
