Where the action is - Communities Call for Climate Action

CHEX wishes to draw your attention to a new Communities Call for Climate Action all community organisations are encouraged to sign up to, including social enterprises.

It calls for the Scottish Government to do more to tackle climate change and to recognise and support the role of community organisations in making the major changes that are necessary.

The climate emergency is the most urgent issue facing humanity just now. In this briefing, CHEX makes the links between community-led health and climate action. The effects of climate change – as with health and wellbeing – are distributed unfairly, and we cannot address health inequality and wider inequality without also addressing climate justice.

On average wthey have been able to save customers over 30% on what they are currently paying - this meant one customer saved over £10.5k over the life of their mobile contracts.
