The Development Worker “grants and building refurb” will work to identify potential funding sources in relation to building refurbishment to meet the aims and objectives of the centre, its facilities and activities.
The successful applicant will work with the board and staff on funding strategies and making funding applications for grants to support the Centre’s ongoing refurbishment, facilities and activities. You will also participate in management’s decision making process; draw up proposals and help set long and short-term goals.

Braveheart Industries is a registered Charity, established in 2014, creating pathways to employment for individuals with convictions. The charity has a focus across Scotland and established its first business in Glasgow through Street and Arrow, which currently operates two catering venues one at the Glasgow Dental School Café and a food truck at the Multiplex Building Site (Glasgow University, former Western Infirmary site). It is hoped to build on these in the future with other ventures.
Street and Arrow is geared to tackle barriers for those with criminal convictions, aiming to improve long-term job prospects of those most at risk in terms of re-offending alongside engagement with family and friends to make a deeper, lasting impact on local communities.
