Nemo Arts: Transforming Lives Through Creativity
Nemo Arts is a Glasgow-based charity and social enterprise dedicated to improving mental health and well-being through the arts. Since 1998, we have supported individuals experiencing poor mental health, offering a safe, welcoming space where creativity can thrive free from judgement or stigma.
We run a diverse range of programmes, including drama, music, visual art, creative writing, Taiko drumming, crochet, and choir sessions. Each 14-week term culminates in a showcase event, celebrating participants’ achievements and building confidence. These activities are proven to foster connection, self-expression, and personal growth, helping individuals take positive steps in their recovery journeys.
We actively collaborate with partners across Glasgow to deliver services tailored to local communities. By working with organisations such as NHS Mental Health services, housing associations, and community groups, we bring the transformative power of creativity to those who need it most. Whether co-delivering workshops, integrating arts into existing services, or designing bespoke programmes, we’re committed to creating impactful, collaborative projects that meet the needs of Glasgow’s diverse communities.
If your organisation is interested in partnering with us to deliver arts-based mental health initiatives, we’d love to hear from you. Together, we can make a lasting difference in people’s lives.
