"Let’s Skip the Skip" is a Glasgow-based social enterprise dedicated to reducing waste, promoting sustainability, and improving lives. We collect unsold, unwanted, but still usable items—such as furniture, tools, equipment, and school supplies—that would otherwise end up in landfills. These items are shipped to Senegal, where they are either donated to schools and community organizations or sold at affordable prices to low-income families. By doing so, we aim to: • Reduce waste and promote a circular economy. • Support education and livelihoods in Senegal. • Foster community development in both Glasgow and Senegal.
