Organisation Description – Kwetu Coffee CIC Kwetu Coffee CIC is a community-focused social enterprise based in Scotland that uses coffee as a tool for skills development, employment pathways, and community engagement. We work primarily with people from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds, providing practical training, mentoring, and real-world experience within the coffee and hospitality sector. Our activities include coffee barista training, mobile coffee cart operations at community events, and educational workshops that build confidence, employability, and transferable skills. Through hands-on learning, participants gain industry-relevant knowledge that can lead to employment, self-employment, or further training opportunities. Kwetu Coffee CIC is committed to ethical sourcing, cultural exchange, and wellbeing, with strong links to African coffee origins and wellness traditions. All profits are reinvested into our social mission to expand training opportunities, support community initiatives, and create inclusive economic participation
