Clyde Haven Joinery Trust (Proposed) is a woodworking social enterprise based in Glasgow designed to support men’s mental health, wellbeing, and confidence through hands-on trade experience.
Operating from a fully equipped, professional workshop unit, we offer a safe, shoulder-to-shoulder environment where men can learn practical bespoke joinery and woodworking skills, build community, and combat social isolation. By focusing on practical, creative projects, we help participants gain tangible skills, focus their minds, and find a supportive network.
We are currently in the development phase and are building active referral pathways with key community organisations, including Men Matter Scotland, the Wheatley Group, and the DRC Youth Project. Our goal is to create a sustainable, therapeutic space where woodworking serves as a powerful tool for recovery, personal growth, and long-term wellbeing.
