Extraordinary Responses from Project Ability

Over the last year a group of ‘outsider’ artists, funded by The Heritage Lottery Group have been researching and visiting Glasgow’s Art Galleries. They have been learning about different artworks that are on display and in archive rooms across the city.

'Extraordinary Responses' is an exhibition curated by this group of artists exploring their research and presenting their own work that has been created and inspired by their visits.

We will be opening the doors at 4pm on Saturday 11th January and would love to welcome you. You will find us on the first floor at Trongate103.

A Solo showcase of Ceramics by Billy Harper

Gallery II, Project Ability, Trongate 103

Exhibition: 11 Jan – 22 Feb

Reception: 11 Jan 4-6pm

This exhibition of ceramics by Billy Harper has been inspired by the iconic Royal Doulton figurines. Harper is an artist working in Project Ability’s Aspire studios, and he has been working on these ceramic figurines for over a year. Each of these artworks has been created with their own story and character, and each has a charm and beauty that can’t easily be defined. We fell in love with these ceramic beauties instantly, and have enjoyed watching as each new one comes out of the kiln. We are sure our visitors will be loving these as much as us, and we are very excited to share them for the first time.
