Voiceover Glasgow | Open Office Day

Thursday 29th | 1:30 - 5PM | Festival Business Centre, 150 Brand Street, Glasgow, G51 1DH

Voiceover is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Govan Community Project that strive to break down language barriers and promote inclusive communication by providing high quality voice interpreting services across the UK.

To celebrate their recent move to their new premises in X, Voiceover are hosting an Office Open Day on Thursday 29th! This will be a pop-in, informal afternoon, with no fixed agenda, just an opportunity to connect, network, and spend some time together in our new space.

Optional Peer Learning Session (for Voiceover Linguists)

They are also hosting an optional peer learning session for Voiceover linguists, from 1:30 - 3PM. It will be a chance to share experiences, learn from one another, and connect with fellow professionals.

There will be two talks as part of the session:

  • Overview of Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) Membership - Hussein Al-Sayed
  • Translation Basics - Aida Ferrer

If you’re a client or partner hoping to chat with linguists, Voiceover recommend popping in after 3pm, once the peer session has finished.

RSVP to attend here.
