The Wildlife Trusts Green Community Grants Programme

Grants of up to £25,000 are available from The Green Community Grants Programme for non profits contributing to nature spaces, recovery and responding to climate emergency. 

The funding is flexible and offered on a one year basis to organisations with an annual income between £10,000 and £1 million. 

The fund opens from 24 June to 15 July and will open again from 30 September to 21 October. 

Priority will be given to organisations:

• That have an income of £250,000 or below.
• That work in communities located in the top 15% of the Index of Multiple Deprivation
• Whose main activities are focused on supporting marginalised groups. This could include but is not limited to; disabled people, communities experiencing racial inequity, and LGBT+ people.
• Whose objects or purposes within its governing document relate to habitat or species restoration/protection.
