The Wash House Garden is a small workers’ co-operative of queer community growers in Glasgow's East End.
With their partners, they are seeking a community asset transfer to secure this site for permanent community use. Their aim is to secure this land for community public benefit that safeguards access, strengthens urban food security, and anchors grounded learning and ecological care for generations to come.
We invite you to support this work by providing a brief statement they may use to demonstrate community- and sector-wide support to the council. They hope to secure stewardship of this land for generations to come and appreciate any support available in our thriving Glasgow town.
