The Holyrood Election and Party Policies on Social Enterprise

The Holyrood Elections are around the corner -  which will be Scotland’s opportunity to decide the make up of the next Parliament.

Social Enterprise Scotland recently launched their election pledge, which calls on MSP candidates, decision makers, social entrepreneurs and other business leaders to pledge their support for social enterprise. Read the Social Enterprise Scotland 2026 manifesto here.

"We know that business as usual isn’t working for our economy. From the cost of living - and doing business - to rampant inequality, we need real solutions. The next Scottish Government and Parliament need to prioritise the economic and wellbeing needs of ordinary people. By properly investing and supporting in social enterprises and other democratic businesses, we can fix our economy and build a stronger, fairer, greener future for everyone in Scotland."

Sign the pledge now and encourage your election candidates to sign it too. To check who is standing in your local area, use the Who Can I Vote For tool.
