The Heritage Building Viability Grant Scheme

27 Oct 2026

The Heritage Building Viability Grant Scheme, funded by Glasgow City Council and delivered by Glasgow City Heritage Trust, aims to put floorspace in some of the city's most significant buildings back to work, creating homes for businesses, supporting jobs and protecting Glasgow's built heritage for the future.

This grant programme will target historic properties to facilitate capital works and ensure a sustainable future for these spaces.

The scheme is now open for applications, with grants ranging from £15,000 - £350,000 available for listed buildings in Glasgow.
