Tesco Stronger Starts Fund | Projects Supporting Children and Young People

Tesco Stronger Starts funds thousands of local community projects across Scotland and the UK. They are currently seeking applications from the following Glasgow areas from groups and projects that support children and young people with a stronger start in life:

  • Anderson
  • Bridgeton
  • City Centre
  • Calton
  • Camlachie
  • Dennistoun
  • Gorbals
  • Haghill
  • Parkhead
  • Merchant City G1 1NL
  • Trongate G1 5HF

A wide range of projects fit the bill - growing and food projects, improving school playgrounds, biodiversity, outdoor play and adventure, community arts projects and purchasing kit for healthy activities. Projects that include a food element (e.g. providing healthy snack or lunch) are currently being prioritised.

The scheme provides grants of up to £1500 for local projects from across your local area. It is open to all local authorities, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations. Applications needed now from youth groups, schools, sports clubs, and more.

Greenspace Scotland’s team of friendly Community Enablers can support you to apply or answer any questions.
