Talking is Mental CIC is one of five projects across Scotland to be shortlisted for their work supporting people with long term health conditions to live the life they want. 

The Self Management Awards, run by the Health and Social Care Alliance (the ALLIANCE), present the annual accolades in recognition and celebration of the achievements of people and projects that have contributed the most to self management in Scotland over the past year.

The Self Management Awards are part of the ALLIANCE’s annual Self Management Week, which is set to run from 22 to 25 September 2025, with a range of activities and events taking place to promote self management practices. Self Management in the Community award is an opportunity to highlight projects, local communities or individuals who have worked to create improvements to support people to live well within their community.
