Tackling Hate Crime in the Workplace: An Anti-Racism Perspective
3 Mar 2026
Tuesday March 10th | 11AM - 12:15PM | Online
CEMVO Scotland are hosting an online learning session to explore how you can embed anti-racism to tackle hate crime in the workplace.
Anti-racist practice doesn’t just aim to eliminate systemic racism. It commits to dismantling broader structural inequalities and enables us to develop the right tools for inclusion.
In this session, you will:
- Understand how embedding anti-racism strategically can prevent discrimination and hate crime in the workplace.
- Understand common organisational barriers and ways to foster an anti-racist workplace.
- Hear from guest speaker, Shaheen Baber (hate crime policy officer, Glasgow City Council), on how organisations should navigate the current social and political landscape and take preventative steps to protect staff in the workplace.
