Want to work with the construction sector but not sure where to start? Or already supplying and want to do more? Social Enterprise Scotland are hosting a friendly, interactive session on how social enterprises can successfully connect with – and supply to – construction companies.
This session is part of Social Enterprise Scotland's Buy Social Business programme – helping social enterprises open doors to new markets and build sustainable commercial opportunities.
The session will be led by Ross Hammell, CSR Manager at McTaggart Group, who will walk you through topics such as:
• The skills, products and services construction companies are looking for right now
• Common pitfalls to avoid when approaching buyers
• How social value and community benefit requirements shape purchasing decisions
The session will also cover what procurement teams need to see from you, how to show off your value, quality and compliance, tips for navigating pre-qualification and tendering processes and inspiring examples of social enterprise–construction partnerships that work.
