The campaign is inspired by the sunflower as a symbol of hidden disabilities, which also sits at the centre of the Sunny Cycles logo. Through Petal Power, Sunny Cycles are raising funds to continue delivering cycling and wellbeing activities 6 (and often 7) days a week for people of all abilities.
They're currently encouraging everyone to get planting between 20th April – 3rd May, so this is the key period for people to get involved.
Participants can enter categories including tallest sunflower, most creative growing spot and Sunflower of the Season, with prizes to be announced later in the summer.
People can take part as individuals, families, schools, workplaces, care homes or community groups - no garden required!
