Thursday 9 July | 11AM - 12:30PM | Online
The workshop has been designed and funded to provide financial support to ethnic minority individuals/communities and groups within Scotland. The aim of the Financial Capability Project is to empower ethnic minority (EM) communities across Scotland to become more confident and better informed about the financial choices and decisions they make to help improve their resilience for the future.
This is one of the 12 interactive workshops Cemvo will be delivering in 2026, targeting EM men/women/young adults and the wider EM communities who might be struggling to manage their money on a daily basis.
In this session, Julie Huggan, Events and Partnership Manager, will outline who Social Security Scotland are, the benefits they deliver, and the wider support available. This includes key payments designed to help individuals, families and carers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to improve financial wellbeing.
