Refugee Week Community Food and Culture Event | Youdom Suya CIC

Saturday 13 June | 3-5PM | West PIlton Neighbourhood Centre, Edinburgh

"One Recipe, Many Stories – Celebrating Culture Through Food."

As part of Refugee Week, Youdom Suya CIC is organising a community food and culture event taking place at West Pilton Community Centre this June.

The event will bring people together through live cooking, food sharing, music, dance and cultural exchange, creating a welcoming and inclusive space for the community. A key highlight will be Tchoû koûdhëk, a successful traditional dish that was showcased during the North Edinburgh Community Festival last year and will be featured again this year.

The event will offer an opportunity to learn about culinary traditions spanning cultures from Cameroon to Scotland.
