Pricing Your Tender – A Sustainable Approach | SDP Webinar
24 Jul 2026
Thursday 6 Aug | 10:30AM - 12PM | Online
Procurement teams have an obligation to provide value for money in their spending. This means that they must evaluate both the product/service being offered, and the price they are paying for it, using MEAT. -Most Economically Advantageous Tender. This session will talk about MEAT and the fixed costs that will not change, based on your sales activity, such as;
- Rent / lease payments
- Utility payments
- Phone / IT / Software services
- Equipment leases and payments (e.g. car)
- Salaries
When pricing up a tender, you should consider if opening a new office or employing new members of staff is needed, as these costs would also form part of your fixed costs, not your variable costs.
You also need to factor in transitioning to net-zero and Fair Work First, whilst also future proofing your pricing if the contract is to be delivered over several years.
At the end of the session, there will be an interactive Q&A session where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear what others ask during this live webinar.
This event is suitable for beginners and is the first step to tendering for new or inexperienced bidders.
