New Govanhill Community Clinic | Free Legal Advice for Families

The Scottish Child Law Centre has launched a new community clinic in Govanhill, bringing free, in-person legal advice directly to local families.

Based in the MILK café, the clinic supports 4–5 families each week on issues including domestic abuse, housing, education needs, criminal justice, and benefits. Alongside legal advice, families receive practical follow-up support, such as help with documents, assistance with accessing legal aid, and referrals to other services.

Interpretation and translation are also available to ensure inclusivity.
