LEAP Sports | Community Sports Climate Lab

As part of their Pride House programme during the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, LEAP Sports will be running a Community Sports Climate Lab open to the LGBTIQ+ community, allies and anyone with a passion for climate action and community sport. 

The Lab will bring together community leaders, volunteers, activists, sports organisations and climate practitioners to share good practice, reflect on current progress, and identify practical steps that can be taken by community groups to become more sustainable. Climate practitioners and organisations will deliver training modules to build knowledge and support action planning. At the end of the lab, participants will collaborate to develop practical Climate Action Prototypes to be implemented and tested in community group settings with 2-3 ideas being taken forward.
