GCVS are looking for an inspiring, strategic leader to help guide their work supporting Glasgow’s voluntary sector. 

In addition to chairing Board meetings, the Chair plays an important role in the governance of the organisation – ensuring that all Board members feel able to contribute, building a strong relationship with the organisation’s Chief Officer, and
speaking on behalf of the organisation to external partners. GCVS wants to strengthen its influence on behalf of the sector and the Board would particularly welcome a Chair able to contribute to this. 

People with experience from within and outside the third sector are very welcome to apply - fresh perspectives from business, industry, or public life are really welcome.
