GrowHow Learning Social Enterprise Taster Session: Practical Management Training

Tuesday, 26th May | 1-2PM | Online

Join GSEN and GrowHow Learning for an online taster session designed for GSEN and Edinburgh Social Enterprise Network members.

GrowHow Learning will discuss their management development training options and share insights on how to engage and retain your people.

GrowHow Learning's mission is to boost managers' capabilities and confidence so they can create great workplaces where people and the organisations they work for can thrive. They are committed to reinvesting a portion of the revenue from paid learning spaces to make learning and development spaces available to social enterprises.

Courses are designed for new or aspiring line managers, as well as those with experience, from small to medium businesses looking to build critical management skills - from setting goals and great communication, to managing performance and building engagement.

Courses include:

  • Manager Transition - make the best transition from team member to team manager.
  • Difficult Conversations 101 - learn how to prepare for, hold and follow up on tough conversations with clarity and compassion.
  • Engage and Retain 101 - understand what motivates people, why they leave, and how to keep them engaged.
  • Wellbeing 101 - manage the wellbeing and resilience of your team for sustainable performance.
