Govanhill Community Newsroom - Available for space hire!

Greater Govanhill CIC and The Ferret are delighted to have taken on a shared premises at 82 Bowman Street in Govanhill. 

Initially opened as a hub to work on a shared project, Mind The Health Gap, the idea for The Community Newsroom is to be part of a movement that makes journalism more accessible and useful to the local community. With this in mind, The Community Newsroom hosts and delivers regular workshops, training opportunities and news related events.

They are keen to open up the space for use by others, particularly working in related fields around journalism, media and community development, but are open to all enquiries. 

The space aims to be collaborative and sustainable - desks are available to rent for co-working and the newsroom and meeting room are available for evening/weekend event hire.
