Glasgow Girls Club Launches Performing Arts Group for Young Women in Easterhouse

Glasgow Girls Club offers small, welcoming group activities designed for young women aged 13โ€“25. Their mission is to create supportive, inclusive spaces where young women can connect with others, build confidence, and explore their creativity in a relaxed and friendly environment.

They are currently offering a performing arts group every Monday night at Kelvin College Easterhouse Campus, specifically for young women aged 16โ€“25. This group focuses on theatre, music, and performance, and is led by experienced, professional actors and musicians. Sessions are designed to help participants develop new skills, grow in confidence, and form new friendships in a safe, supportive space.

The group is particularly suited to those who are looking for community, looking for performing arts experience, or who are simply curious to try something new.

Group Details:

  • When: Monday evenings

  • Where: Kelvin College, Easterhouse Campus

  • Who: Young women aged 16โ€“25

  • Cost: Free to attend

Those interested in joining can complete a short sign-up form to let the club know they will be attending and to share a little bit about themselves. This helps to ensure that they meet the needs of young women who most need support.

Glasgow Girls Club also welcomes referrals from individuals, organisations, and support services who know a young woman who would benefit from this kind of positive, creative experience. A flyer with more information is available to download and share.
