Glasgow Commonwealth Games returns in 2026 from July 23rd until August 2nd, and they are currently seeking volunteers!
Glasgow will become only the third city in history to host the Commonwealth Games twice, bringing both experience and a unique local spirit to this global event. The Games will be a celebration of sport, community, and energy, set within an eight-mile area that brings athletes, fans, and the city together.
Glasgow 2026 will also lead the way in delivering a more efficient and environmentally responsible model for major events. It will build on the city’s existing venues and knowledge from hosting the 2014 Games. Notably, this edition will be delivered without public funding from the Scottish or UK Governments, with support from the Commonwealth Games Federation and Commonwealth Games Australia.
They are currently looking for over 3,000 enthusiastic, diverse and motivated individuals to help deliver 11 days of action, which will celebrate the best of Commonwealth Games sport.
