Getting to Grips with Trauma Book Festival 2026
5 Aug 2026
Sunday 6 September | 10AM - 5:30PM | Lanternhouse, North Lanarkshire
What happens when you explore trauma through a cultural lens?
Organised by Dr Suzanne Zeedyk and Scotland's ACEs Action Community, the Getting to Grips with Trauma Book Festival brings together 24 Scottish authors across eight genres for a day of discussion, learning and connection. The day ends with a theatrical production from Anam Alba; The Loom.
Hear from a range of authors, both established and new, whose writing helps us think more deeply about what trauma is like.
