Future Woodlands Scotland | Research & Innovation Grant

Grants of up to £10,000 are available from Future Woodlands Scotland to fund original research, practical trials and new ideas for Scotland's woodlands.

They are looking for projects that inform better practice, shared learning, and deliver long-term value for Scotland’s woodlands. They are also open to projects that explore Continuous Cover Forestry and other regenerative silvicultural methods.

Next application deadline is 23 August 2026.
