Funded Outdoor Nursery Places Available in Castlemilk

Funded places are available for Jeely Piece Club's Outdoor Nursery for children in Castlemilk, providing the opportunity to learn, play and explore in nature.

The nursery runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 4.30pm, with activities based across three outdoor sites in Castlemilk Local Nature Reserve. Drop-off and collection take place at Castlemilk Community Centre.

Activities Include:

• Nature play and environmental learning
• Exploration and investigation
• Den building
• Imaginative play
• Arts and crafts
• Water play
• Literacy and numeracy development
• Physical development
• Social and emotional learning

The programme follows Scotland's Curriculum for Excellence and Out to Play guidance, supporting children's confidence, wellbeing and curiosity through outdoor learning.

A healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided each day, along with waterproof clothing to ensure children can enjoy the outdoors in all weather conditions.
